Meet our Oats
Oats are a natural superfood: a wholegrain source of vitamins, minerals and soluble fibre which can help lower cholesterol and support a healthy gut. They’re also low GI (Glycaemic Index) which helps your body avoid unhealthy spikes in blood sugar.
Pure oats are naturally gluten free… however, absolute purity is very hard to achieve. Only a dedicated process from start to finish can ensure that no other grains such as wheat, barley or rye (which do contain gluten) can contaminate the pure oats. Our strict procedures ensure what most oat producers can’t – oats that are certified completely free from gluten.
Oats & Their Benefits
Oats contain Beta Glucan, shown to lower cholesterol!

Gluten Free from Field to farm to food
Glebe Farm does things differently.
Since 2009, we’ve met the needs of coeliacs, and those with gluten intolerance, for 100% reliable gluten free oats and oat products. We do it by managing the whole process – from the field to the mill, then right along the production line and into the supply chain – to create a 100% gluten free production line all the way.
We’ve never failed a gluten test – it’s that simple.
Introducing PureOaty
PureOaty is our gluten free oat drink – a plant-based alternative to dairy, soya or nut milks – which is created from our own 100% British gluten free oats, by using renewable energy sources.
It is ideal for a frothy barista coffee….or is just as good with cereals, or in a smoothie.

What Is Coeliac Disease?
Coeliac disease (pronounced see-liac and spelled celiac in other countries) is a serious illness where the body’s immune system attacks its own tissues when you eat gluten. This causes damage to the lining of the gut and means the body can’t properly absorb nutrients from food. Around 1 in 100 people in the UK have Coeliac Disease and it is estimated there are around half a million people who don’t know they have it and are suffering with unexplained symptoms.
Symptoms of coeliac disease may take many forms, including: headaches, diarrhoea, stomach pains, lethargy, excessive wind and/or constipation, nausea and vomiting, bloating, anaemia, iron, vitamin B12 or folic acid deficiency. The only treatment for coeliac disease is a diet free from gluten. Once this is undertaken, many people feel symptoms alleviating within a few days, while for others it may take a little longer.
